SPELL SCHOOL NEWPORT: Working with Herbs

Ever looked at a list of magical herbs and wondered how you’re supposed to know which ones to use? Maybe you’ve bought herbs for spellwork but still aren’t sure how to combine them, substitute them or actually work with them intentionally.

Welcome to Spell School Newport! A beginner-friendly evening exploring one of the oldest and most versatile tools used within magical practice: herbs.

You don’t need any prior knowledge, belief or experience to be here. Just curiosity.

In this session, we’ll cover:

• How herbs have been used within spiritual, folk and magical practices throughout history
• How to understand the magical properties and correspondences of different herbs
• How to choose herbs that align with your intention
• How to work with everyday herbs you may already have in your kitchen or garden
• How to combine herbs without feeling like you need dozens of ingredients
• How to cleanse, charge and awaken your herbs before using them
• Hands-on practical work: you’ll create and charge your own herbal spell plate
  

You’ll be able to choose an intention that feels personal to you, such as protection, abundance, confidence, self-love, healing, attraction or road opening.

Who this is for:

Complete beginners, the curious, and anyone who wants a grounded, practical introduction to working with herbs in spellwork. No experience is necessary and everything offered is invitational.
