A creativity workshop to follow the inspiration and connect with your creative side!
Drawing Out Your Creative Side
Yes, there’s a play on words here!
In order to draw out and unfold your creative process, let’s draw it out!
Get It? Get it? LOL
And in the spirit of following the inspiration, this workshop will be created as we go along — based on what attendees wish to get from the session, and what comes up in the collective creative space.
Feeling creatively stuck? Come get your creative juices flowing!
Feeling like something in you wants to be expressed? Come draw it out!
Curious to see what comes up? Come mess around and let’s play!
To put into a tangible visual form what’s in you that wants to emerge, we will be mostly drawing (with a little bit of writing).
But fret not! “Bad” drawings and “bad” writing welcome! This is for you to discover your own creative process, not to showcase your skills.
Just come with an open heart and mind, free yourself up, and be ready to receive whatever emerges in this collective creative space.
What you’ll get:
- Insights and discoveries about your own creative process
- Learn to trust your intuition and follow your inspiration
- Hear from fellow creatives about their process and inspire one another

About me:
MaryAnn Loo
Artist, graphic novelist (in-the making), ICF coach-in-training
When I was 8, I was discouraged from becoming an artist, and stopped believing it was possible for me. At 29, despite having no formal art training, I rediscovered to my forgotten childhood artist dream and organised my first solo exhibition in 2 months, sold 17 out of 30 paintings, and became a professional artist.
Since then I've continued to follow my creative inclinations, even when I have no idea what they are about. This led to my biggest ongoing project to paint 100 "Dream Tree" murals around the world. So far, I've completed 10 Dream Trees in 7 countries. I'm also working on my first graphic novel, a memoir about how I fulfilled my artist dream with my first solo exhibition.
As a multifaceted artist, I believe each of us have something we wish to express and bring forth into the world. And to find that, we gotta trust in the inspiration that comes from our own minds, and follow it! My dream is for a world where everyone can be our truest selves, and we are all free to make the art that only we can make!
