Guåhan has always known how to feed itself. Our reliance on off-island shipments has put that knowledge at risk, and every delay or disruption reminds us how exposed we are. But we are a resilient people, and resilience means reclaiming that knowledge for good.
This year's Agricultural Symposium is focused on connecting our community of partners in the local, sustainable agricultural space to find actionable solutions together. Participants will explore new ideas for collaboration like building cooperatives and sharing resources, engaging with grassroots organizations doing the work, and influencing the direction of what the future of sustainable agriculture looks like.
