Join Adam Kessockoff from The Aussie Smoker for a fun, hands-on family barbecue workshop on Lemon Quay.

Gather around the Big Green Eggs and get stuck in as Adam shows you how to make your own Aussie-style burgers before firing up the BBQ and cooking them together.

Designed especially for families, this is a relaxed and fun introduction to cooking over fire – giving kids the chance to get hands-on while the grown-ups can join in too.

Best of all, you'll be making your own lunch! Once the cooking is done, sit back and enjoy the burgers you've made together.

Workshop Details

Session 1: 12:00pm–1:00pm
Session 2: 1:30pm–2:30pm

Location: Truro Food Festival, Lemon Quay

Family Ticket: £50 for up to 5 people

Capacity: Just 3 families per session

Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult throughout the workshop. The session will be hands-on, with Adam managing the cooking around the hot BBQs to keep everyone safe.

Even better, all proceeds from the workshop will go to Cornwall Hospice Care, supporting the incredible work they do for people and families across Cornwall.

With only three family places available for each session, this is a small, hands-on workshop and advance booking is essential.
