Join ReCircle Society for a special Back-to-School Edition: Upcycled Notebook Book Binding Workshop + Clothing Swap at Lotus House Thrift Chic Boutique.

Start the afternoon at our free community clothing swap, where you can exchange pre-loved clothing and discover new-to-you finds. Then, join artist Sera Takata for a hands-on bookbinding workshop and learn Coptic stitching while transforming discarded packaging into your own one-of-a-kind 6" × 9" notebook.

No experience is needed, and all workshop materials are provided. You’re also welcome to bring clean packaging or cardboard boxes from home to incorporate into your notebook.

Come to swap, create, or do both and discover how everyday materials can be reimagined instead of thrown away.

Before the workshop, refresh your wardrobe at our free community clothing swap. Bring 1–10 clean, gently used clothing items you’re ready to pass along and discover new-to-you pieces while helping keep clothing in circulation and out of the landfill.

Please bring items in clean, wearable condition. No underwear, socks, stained, damaged, or heavily worn clothing.
