ABOUT THE SPEAKERDr. Ali A Olomi is a professor of history of the Middle East and Islam at Loyola Marymount University and an Affiliated Scholar at the Rutgers Center for Security, Race, and Rights. He is host of the Head on History podcast and Patreon where he translates and presents astrological and occult texts from the medieval Islamic world. He researches, writes, and teaches on the intersection of science, magic, and religion.
