Community Civics Lab: What's At Stake & What You Can Do

You don’t have to be a political expert to understand what’s happening or have a say in what happens next. The municipal elections are behind us, but new leaders are taking office, the midterms are coming, and decisions that affect our money, schools, neighborhoods, rights, opportunities, and everyday lives are being made all the time.

Community Civics Lab breaks down politics, government, elections, and civic engagement in a way that connects them to real life.

This time, we’re talking about what’s at stake in the midterms, what happens after we elect people, and how we hold leaders and ourselves accountable after the campaign signs come down.

Power doesn’t just belong to elected officials. It belongs to informed, organized and engaged communities too.

Come get informed, ask questions, meet people, eat good food, and learn how we can use our individual and collective power to help shape what happens in our community instead of simply living with decisions made for us.
