Question 1

What is the play?

Accepted Answer

This month it is Rope by Patrick Hamilton. The play changes each month. Sometimes we have a new play or an already published play. Information about the play will be sent out to all participants ahead of time.

Question 2

Do I need to purchase the play myself?

Accepted Answer

We will send you over a digital copy of the play. We ask that you bring a device with the play on for the read. There is also the option to print the play or purchase the play yourself and bring it along to the read. We can also assist with printing.

Question 3

Will I get to read?

Accepted Answer

During the morning play read, we will do our best to enable everyone to get a chance to read. The afternoon session will involve getting the play 'up on its feet' in a loose rehearsal setting. Everyone will be involved in this as a performer or by directing a scene.
