You’ve been invited to Experience Flyover

VELUM is conducting a scientific study at Flyover to measure how the body responds to an immersive experience combining storytelling, motion, sound, and sensory effects.

As a study participant, you’ll receive complimentary admission to a Flyover experience—normally $40. Your complete visit will take approximately 90 minutes.

It includes brief surveys, two short seated quiet periods, and wearing a non-invasive, research-grade ring sensor—similar to an Oura ring—during the Flyover experience.

What to expect

• Arrive for your designated study time and bring a valid photo ID.
• Go to the Flyover ticket counter and say that you're there as a “VELUM Study Participant.”
• Someone will guide you to the VELUM Study Check-in Desk.
• A VELUM Research Assistant will explain and guide you through each step of your visit.
• Complete a pre-experience survey and be fitted with a non-invasive ring sensor.
• Complete a 5-minute seated quiet period so the sensor can record initial signals.
• Experience one of Flyover’s immersive flying-theater shows while wearing the ring.
• After the experience, complete a second brief seated quiet period and a short survey.
• Return the study equipment—and you’re done!

Important to know
Participation is open to adults 18 and older and is completely voluntary. Each participant must register separately. Transportation, parking, and other expenses are not reimbursed. Registration does not guarantee participation. Each study session has limited capacity, and participation is not confirmed until you arrive, complete check-in, and are determined to be eligible. If you do not arrive by the stated required arrival time, we will not be able to include you.

Parking

Onsite paid parking: Enter from Las Vegas Blvd at 3771 Las Vegas Blvd S, Suite 150. Flyover signage is directly outside the garage exit.

Free parking for Nevada residents: Park MGM offers up to 3 hours of free self-parking with a valid Nevada driver’s license, except during special-event rates. Garage: 4720 Frank Sinatra Dr. Exit through Eataly, cross the pedestrian bridge, and look for Flyover next to Hard Rock Cafe.

Safety
Flyover uses motion seating, flashing lights, wind, mist, scents, and other sensory effects. It may not be appropriate for guests with certain medical conditions, and expectant mothers should not participate. Before registering, please review Flyover’s Safety & Accessibility guidance.
