Faiza is joined by economist Carolina Alves, Associate Professor of Economics at the Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose (IIPP) at University College London (UCL), and a Fellow in Economics at Girton College, University of Cambridge.
The cost-of-living crisis is still raging, with food prices still roughly 40% higher than they were in 2021, and household energy bills around 60% higher than they were.
How can Burnham finally ease the financial burdens on everyday people and what should he do to make a start?
