Join us for a public design day on public art for our waterways at CANOA Sunday, October 4th 2-5pm.
Waterways Design Day! Please join us to imagine, ideate, and remember public art and infrastructure for Louisiana waterways. Our time together is in response to paris cian’s floating sculpture, To Cross We Must Remember to Float, created in honor of marronage and ecological memory.
The afternoon will consist of breakout activites to strategize public art for our waterways with paris cian, Bayou Barkada, Climate Culture, Water Leaders Institute, Common Ground Relief, and CRCL!
