Mahjong 101 (Beginner Lesson)Learn the fundamentals of American Mahjong, including tile identification, how to read the NMJL card, the Charleston, basic rules, and mechanics of gameplay. This class focuses on building a foundation, and most groups typically play through one practice hand by the end of class.
Open Play: Tables available experienced players who are comfortable playing independently and do not require instruction. Open Play attendees will bring their own 2026 NMJL card (or The BIG CARD) and can enjoy playing at a pace that works best for their table.
