About this event

In this class students will carve their own soft carve plate and be shown how to print without the use of a huge heavy press, as well as tricks to print multiple colors easy peasy.

You are welcome to bring your own paper, but about 10 per student will be provided.

"Better Than Jam" is the textile printing and fashion line of owner Karin Persan, since 2007. The newest space, post Covid, of the same name is now at 10 Grattan Street. There is a small showroom with remnants of the boutique that ran 10+ years that hosted handmade creations of local designers. However the space now is mainly the large private studio of the creator, where screenprinting and textile dyeing occurs. You will be welcomed into the artist's creation space! A little different for returning students but still great and lucky to have.
