We’re Hamlin and Amara, AI Creative & Business Partner, and we’re excited to welcome you to Ghana Roots Link Up — Panafest 2027, a 10-Day Ghana Heritage Tour.

This journey is about more than taking a vacation. It’s an opportunity to experience Ghana’s history, culture, people, food, natural beauty, and powerful places of remembrance while creating memories and connections that can last a lifetime.

From Accra and Cape Coast to Elmina, Kakum National Park, Boti Falls and more, we invite you to experience Ghana with us.

Please note: These are Ghana Roots Link Up company travel dates and should not be interpreted as verified official Panafest festival dates. Any Panafest or Emancipation activities will be incorporated only after dates, access and participation are confirmed.

Our 10-Day Journey

Day 1 · 25 July — Arrival in Accra

Welcome to Ghana! Airport pick-up and accommodation check-in will be coordinated with arriving guests.

We plan to begin our journey together with a welcome dinner at Jamrock, subject to reservation and guests' flight arrival times. Meals and drinks at the welcome dinner are at participants' own expense.

Accra International Airport (ACC) serves as the designated arrival and airport pickup point for the tour. Final pickup instructions will be provided to registered travelers before departure.

Day 2 · 26 July — Accra Heritage

Experience some of Accra's most important cultural and historical locations, including Independence Square, Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park and the Arts Centre, with opportunities for guided interpretation and browsing local crafts.

Day 3 · 27 July — History and Community

Visit the W.E.B. Du Bois Centre, explore Jamestown, and plan a visit to Osu Castle, subject to visitor access and advance arrangements.

Day 4 · 28 July — Assin Manso & Cape Coast

Depart Accra early for the Assin Manso Ancestral Slave River site, associated with the Last Bath.

We then continue to Cape Coast Castle before staying overnight in the Cape Coast/Elmina area.

This will be a full travel day, and the castle visit depends upon arrival before the confirmed final admission time.

Day 5 · 29 July — Kakum & Elmina

Begin the day at Kakum National Park, with walking activities appropriate for guests and current site access.

Continue to Elmina Castle before returning to Accra with appropriate rest stops.

Expect a long day and an evening arrival. The order of visits may change to accommodate confirmed entry times.

Day 6 · 30 July — Shea Butter & Ghanaian Culture

A proposed visit to the Hamamat Shea Butter Museum in Accra will offer another opportunity to explore Ghanaian culture.

The exact address, group availability and booking arrangements for this date remain to be confirmed.

We'll also allow time to rest after our Central Region excursion.

Day 7 · 31 July — Boti Falls Excursion

Enjoy a full-day nature excursion to Boti Falls, including road-travel time and rest stops.

We intend to keep the walking programme manageable. Access to the falls involves steps, and activities will depend on weather, local access and guests' mobility.

No extended hike is promised.

Day 8 · 1 August — Heritage Reflection & Cultural Programme

We are proposing a special Ghana Roots Link Up programme in Accra featuring guided heritage reflection, Ghanaian storytelling and cultural discussion.

Facilitators are still to be arranged.

Relevant Panafest or Emancipation activities may replace or complement this programme once dates, access and participation are verified.

An optional naming ceremony may also be available, subject to arrangements.

Day 9 · 2 August — Markets & Shopping

Experience Makola Market and Accra Mall, with time for shopping, souvenirs and relaxation.

All personal purchases are at participants' own expense.

Day 10 · 3 August — Departure

After an unforgettable experience together, we'll coordinate check-out and airport transfers according to guests' individual flight times.
