ARTS & WITCHCRAFTS: Design Your Own Tarot Card — THE MAGICIAN

Join us for an interactive, esoteric art class exploring the art and symbolism of The Magician, led by Cherokee Presley, and create your own unique, personal interpretation of the card to take home.

The Magician is a card of potential put into action—the power to take the tools, talents, and resources already at our disposal and use them to bring an idea into being. Rich with symbols of will, creativity, and manifestation, the card reminds us of our own capacity to shape possibility through intention and action.

We’ll dive deep into the meaning, history, and symbolism of The Magician, beginning with the imagery of the Rider-Waite-Smith deck before looking at the evolution of the card and the many ways artists have interpreted it over the years. Participants will then channel those ideas through their own unique viewpoint, brainstorming and creating an original version of The Magician to take home.

All levels of artistic ability and tarot knowledge are welcome. Blank tarot card templates and drawing materials will be provided, though guests are welcome to bring their own art supplies if they prefer.
