Will I take the final piece home after the workshop?

Accepted Answer

Your piece will be ready  in 2 weeks. In the workshop you will make the wax model, which will then be casted in metal and cleaned up for you - this will not modify your original design in any way!

In which metal can the wax be casted?

Accepted Answer

The wax can be casted in silver, brass, bronze or solid gold.

Question 3

What type of piece can I do during the workshop?

Accepted Answer

What your heart desires! You have total freedom to do any kind of jewellery piece: ring, pendant, earring; or even something else: tricket, pet charm, small sculpture. Let your creativity flow!

I have a small budget, can I still do a nice piece?

Accepted Answer

Of course! Tell me your budget at the beginning of the session and I will help you create something within that value.

Question 5

Will I know how much my piece will cost before it gets casted?

Accepted Answer

Yes! We will weight and make an accurate estimation of the value of your final piece, so that there are no surprises when you pick it up.

Question 6

How long is the workshop? Can I leave earlier?

Accepted Answer

The workshop has a total duration of 3 hours. If you finish your piece before the end of the workshop, you are free to leave.

Is there a limit of how many pieces I can make in one session?

Accepted Answer

No. You can make as many pieces as you wish. The session has a maximum duration of 3 hours.

Question 8

Do I need to have experience in wax carving?

Accepted Answer

Not at all! This is a beginners friendly workshop. I will teach you the best technique for your design, and help you during the session if you need.

Question 9

I am visiting Lisbon, can you send my piece to my home address?

Accepted Answer

Of course! Pieces can be collected at the studio or shipped to your desired address - shipping costs are covered by the participant.

Question 10

What if I can't attend?

Accepted Answer

If something unexpected happens and you can no longer attend the workshop, a voucher will be issued for the amount paid, which you can use in the future.
