Celebrating Colorado’s Cybersecurity Woman of the Year Nominees
Agenda
5:30pm -6:30pm Networking & Dinner
6:30pm-7:30pm Presentations
The Cybersecurity Woman of the Year nomination is a global honor recognizing exceptional women who are advancing the cybersecurity profession. Nominees are invited to prestigious galas hosted at stunning European venues, where they join an international community of leaders and innovators. The program celebrates excellence across multiple categories, all aligned with its mission: to highlight female role models, bridge the gender gap in a field where women make up roughly 20% of the workforce, and foster global mentorship.
Over the past two years, ISSA Colorado has proudly seen two of its chapter leaders nominated for this distinguished recognition:
- Gina Yacone, Vice President of Denver ISSA (2025)
- Laura Harder, President of Northern Colorado ISSA (2026)
During this session, Gina and Laura will share their personal journeys — what it meant to be nominated, how the experience has shaped their careers, and what it’s like to be part of such an inspiring global community. Their stories reflect the dedication, leadership, and impact that women bring to cybersecurity, both in Colorado and worldwide.
