Jorgensen Lake Pollinator Garden Planting
Overview
Help MAR plant a native pollinator garden for both wildlife and people to enjoy!
Together, we'll plant a new and improved pollinator garden at Jorgensen Lake, giving bees and butterflies a place to feed and rest while beautifying a St. Pete green space!
Whether you're a garden enthusiast, a St. Pete local, or someone who just wants to get their hands dirty for a good cause, this is the morning for you!
What to expect:
- Learn how to properly plant Florida native, pollinator-friendly plants
- Use your new knowledge to help us plant a 30 x 3 foot garden bed
- Work alongside passionate community members
What to Bring:
- Comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes
- Reusable water bottle
- Sunscreen and hat
- Work gloves (we will have extras!)
All necessary tools will be provided, along with water and beverages.

Volunteers ages 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult (18+).
