Join us at Desperados Cantina in Lexington’s Distillery District on Wednesday, September 30, for the next installment of our monthly tequila tasting series.

This month, we’re pouring Siembra Alteño, a Highland tequila rooted in generations of traditional tequila-making in Arandas, Jalisco.

We’ll taste our way through three expressions side by side:

🌵 Siembra Alteño Blanco
Bright and agave-forward, showcasing the character of agave grown in the iron-rich red soil of the Tequila Highlands.

🥃 Siembra Alteño Reposado
An aged expression that builds on that Highland agave character, adding depth and barrel influence.

🥃 Siembra Alteño Añejo
The richest expression of the flight, bringing together roasted agave with notes of caramel, toffee, toasted oak, citrus, and warm spice.
