Step onto foreign soil as we travel halfway across the world without ever leaving the District for a multi-faceted unique Wednesday evening. Featuring a rare treat of Tanzania food, drinks, music, fashion, diplomats, film, and more!

A) Food from Tanzania:

Prepared by a native Tanzanian chef: You cannot experience anything more native than this! The chef will prepare a special buffet of dishes. Challenge your palates to the wonderful course (and desserts) as if fresh from her native homeland.

B) Tanzanian Bar (Beer and Wine)

C) Special Musical and Cultural Presentation from Tanzania

Experience a very unique performance of Tanzanian music, fashion, and culture from native performers.

D) Diplomatic Greeting from H.E. Ambassador Elsie Sia Kanza

Hear from the Ambassador and feel free to schmooze and network with her and the diplomatic staff, all of whom will be invited to this special evening.

E) Tanzanian Art:The embassy has arranged for the presentation of traditional artifacts and paintings unseen to most Americans' eyes. The staff will be on hand to personally discuss the art's origins and meaning with you.
