Lecture with BC Architects

BC Architects: Laurens Beckemans, co-founder of BC Architects & Studies & Materials, will present the Brussels-based practice and its approach to architecture, research, education and material production. Since 2011, BC has explored alternative ways of designing and building, challenging conventional models of architectural practice. Its three complementary branches — BC Architects, BC Studies and BC Materials — work across the entire building process, from design and research to education and material production. The event is part of Conversazioni Internazionali sul Progetto, a programme by La Casa dell’Architettura dedicated to dialogue with leading international figures in architecture and design. The lecture will be introduced by Milena Ferina (Roma Tre), followed by a conversation between Claudia Ricciardi, Onorato di Manno and Andrea Tanci of Set Architects, and Laurens Beckemans.
