Book Making: French Door Binding - Sat, Nov 7, 2026

Create a French Door Book — a unique book structure with two front covers that open outward like doors, revealing layered and surprising interior pages. With two spines and one shared back cover, this interactive format invites playful storytelling and unexpected visual discoveries.

In this workshop, students will learn how to build a French Door Book using a stacked folio binding technique, then fill the interior with collaged pages inspired by the exquisite corpse process. The result is a one-of-a-kind artist book full of experimentation, creativity, and surprise.
