THE GREAT COMMISSION

Media and the Church Conference (MATCC) is an annual Kingdom gathering birthed from a divine burden to help the Church rediscover, understand, and faithfully steward media for God’s purpose.

In a generation where media shapes minds, influences beliefs, drives culture, and reaches people across geographical boundaries, the conversation is no longer simply about whether the Church should use media. The greater question is:

How do we faithfully steward the influence media gives us for the Great Commission?

Media is more than a platform. It is a pulpit.

MATCC brings together church leaders, media ministers, communicators, creatives, storytellers, technologists, and Kingdom-minded professionals to explore the intersection of Media, Faith, the Church, and Kingdom Influence.

This is more than learning how to operate cameras, create designs, or manage social media. It is about understanding the assignment behind the tools, forming people who can carry that assignment, and equipping the Church to use media intentionally for evangelism, discipleship, communication, and Kingdom advancement.

2026 Theme: THE GREAT COMMISSION

This year's conference returns us to the heart of our assignment: to go, communicate Christ, make disciples, and reach the nations.

Through biblical teaching, practical conversations, creative expression, and hands-on experiences, we will explore what the Great Commission means for the Church in today's media-driven world and how every platform, story, skill, and technology entrusted to us can become an instrument for the mission.

What to Expect

• Keynote & Teaching Sessions exploring the Great Commission and the role of media in fulfilling it.
• Kingdom Media Ministry Formation — practical insight into forming people, building purpose, and stewarding media for the Great Commission.
• Creative & Storytelling Expressions exploring the power of words, stories, and creativity in communicating truth.
• The Media Ministry Lab — a hands-on practical session where participants work together to develop and execute real media assignments in alignment with the Great Commission.
• Conversations & Networking with church leaders, media practitioners, communicators, creatives, and Kingdom professionals.
• A Commissioning Charge calling participants beyond the conference into faithful stewardship and action.
