Join MKM architecture + design for a conversation with Whitney Bandemer, Principal at WB Consulting, LLC.
The Fishbowl is MKM's signature community event — an afternoon where we shut down the office, set up chairs, pour some wine, and sit down with someone interesting to talk about what they do, why they do it, and what keeps them up at night.
About Whitney:
Whitney is a recovering lawyer, an organizational architect, an experienced people leader, and a self-proclaimed "change nerd." Prior to opening her own business, she spent 15+ years as an executive in higher education in Virginia and Indiana.
Drawing on more than a decade of experience, Whitney works with leaders to develop the skills needed to support thriving businesses and communities. She is also a registered yoga instructor and actively engaged on several local nonprofit boards.
In both work and play, Whitney encourages people to focus their energy on the present, grow through their challenges, and, as she puts it best: "If they don't sign your check or fix your dinner, let it go."
What to Expect:
The format is conversational, not lecture-based. Our moderator will lead a one-hour interview with Whitney, followed by open Q&A where attendees can ask their own questions. Topics range broadly — from healthcare and housing to the arts, technology, and community development — but all center on innovations in community health and well-being.
Schedule:
- 3:30 PM — Doors open, light refreshments & networking
- 3:45 PM — Moderated conversation begins
- 5:00 PM — Event ends
Light refreshments and beverages will be provided. Seating is limited to create an engaging, personal atmosphere.
It's part salon, part TED talk, and entirely Fort Wayne.
Free to attend. RSVP required.
