CTRL Hoops Showcase, 2026 Season Tip-Off

The city is still on fire from its first basketball championship in 53 years. Before the new season tips off, come run it back on the floor at Major R. Owens Health & Wellness Community Center in Brooklyn for the CTRL Hoops Showcase - the pickup tournament built by CTRL the Narrative for the players who miss how the game used to be played. No refs blowing soft fouls every possession, no analytics department telling you the mid-range is dead. Just real runs, real competition, and a chip on the line.

Here's what you're signing up for:

• Guaranteed minimum 3 games. Pool play into a crossover bracket - you're not paying to play once and go home.
• 8 teams, half court, two games running at once. More people get on the floor, nobody's standing around.
• Team headbands, on us. Every player gets repped in their team color for the day.
• Coco5 is the drink sponsor of the tournament - staying hydrated is covered.
• Prizes go to the winning team. CTRL merch is on the line for the winners of the tournament.

Whether you're still working on the jab step or pulling up from 18 feet like it's 2004, the CTRL Hoop Showcase is for hoopers who respect the game the way it used to be played.

Only 40 spots at Major R. Owens Center. Once they're gone, they're gone.
