Build confidence upside down: all-levels handstand workshop exploring balance, strength, mobility, safe techniques, & fearless movement.
Upside Down & Unlocked
A 2-hour handstand workshop designed to replace intimidation with curiosity, exploration, and play.
Handstands are often seen as something reserved for gymnasts, advanced yogis, or the naturally fearless.
This workshop is an invitation to approach the practice differently - not as a performance, but as a process of learning how your body balances, organizes, adapts, and trusts.
Together we’ll demystify the foundations of handstands through accessible drills, intelligent progressions, partner work, wall exploration, mobility, strength activation, safe exits, and nervous system awareness. Whether you’re learning to kick up for the first time or refining your balance away from the wall, this workshop is designed to help you better understand why handstands work — not just how to force them.
Expect moments of challenge, laughter, recalibration, and discovery.
This workshop will explore:
Wrist preparation & shoulder mobility
Core integration & body line awareness
Safe entries and exits
Balance fundamentals & falling techniques
Wall drills and freestanding exploration
Fear, focus, and the psychology of inversion
Playful approaches to building confidence upside down
No “perfect” handstand required.
Just a willingness to explore.
All levels are welcome.
