Tootsie’s Video Vault is a short film festival in its 6th year!

Tootsie’s Video Vault is a short film race featuring dozens of shorts created by local filmmakers! Accepted filmmakers get 3 months to make a 3 minute short which will be screened live at Littlefield in Brooklyn. The results are a wild mix of bizarre, heartfelt, and hilarious brand-new short films.

Along with Best Actor, and Best Director, we come up with unique superlatives like Most Editing, Best Kiss, Most Serious Film, Least Serious Film, and more!

As an audience member, even YOU ARE UP FOR AWARDS, including Best Dressed, and First One to Show Up! You will also cast your vote for one of the biggest awards - the Audience Award - which is not a trophy, but a gigantic wrestling belt that the winner may choose to wear for the rest of the night.

Another big award is the Judges’ Award which comes from stars who got their start on the NYC scene and are now ready to pass on encouragement (and maybe some judgement) to a new round of comedy filmmakers.

This year Tootsie's is also partnering with Vinyl.TV to offer cash prizes and development awards.
