A Special Venue with a Remarkable Story

Bisong Art Gallery was founded in 2013 by Carla C. Bisong, recognized as Houston’s longest-running Black female commercial gallery owner. After a successful 13-year career in investment banking, Carla followed her passion for art and created a gallery dedicated to amplifying underrepresented voices, encouraging cultural dialogue, and connecting communities through visual storytelling.

Parking Information

Free street parking is available on Sterrett Street directly in front of the gallery and on surrounding blocks.

A public paid parking lot is located nearby at the corner of Walnut Street and Sterrett Street. Parking is $5.
