AK5 is a quintet steeped in jazz, but not confined by it. Built on the fundamentals of improvisation, swing and interplay, the group threads contemporary favourites from Olivia Dean, Laufey, Moonchild and beyond into its own sound, alongside reimagined songs by Michael Jackson, Frank Sinatra and Michael Bublé.

Familiar songs, a little left of centre - reshaped through groove, five musicians responding to each other in real time. AK5 steps into the spotlight for Wild Music Lab where jazz meets the sounds of now.
