Class! With Chad the Bird & Sara Benincasa

Your tenured professors Chad the Bird & Sara Benincasa present a night of mildly-educated comedy with their favorite comedians!

No degree? No problem! At the most prestigious Class! University, tenured professors Chad the Bird & Sara Benincasa invite three comedians, or as we call them adjunct professors, to share their teachings on each month’s major. Each comedian may take the topic in a surprising direction, but you might just learn something through the laughter. And yes, we will be taking attendance and sharing important Class! University announcements to keep our students well-informed.

The next session of Class! will feature Ross Childs, John McCombs, & Maria Palmer on the major of "Feast"!

Why are Sara and Chad the Bird qualified to mildly educate through comedic INFOtainment?

Sara wrote for Mystery Science Theater 3000. She’s published four books, including “Real Artists Have Day Jobs (And Other Awesome Things They Don’t Teach You in School).” A former talk radio host and producer, she’s been heard on BBC Radio, NPR, WTF with Marc Maron and other podcasts. TV credits include “Law & Order: SVU,” “Bill Nye Saves the World,” and more. She used to teach high school and holds an M.A. from Teachers College at Columbia University.

Chad the Bird is, as Rob Dean of Neonsplatter.com puts it, “a mix of Bill Hicks, Kermit The Frog, David Byrne, and a shot of Malört." Chad has performed every week at the Paper Machete for the past 16 years, and has become Chicago’s number one avian op-ed columnist. Having found his perch on the internet, Chad has amassed over 430K Tiktok followers, over 160K instagram followers, and 37K Youtube subscribers. He also hosts Chad Gets Lit, a pinball stream out of Logan Arcade twice a month, available on YouTube, and The Birdcast weekly, wherever you stream your podcasts.
