Frequency Sessions

Twenty artists. One live band. No tracks, no laptops, nowhere to hide.

Frequency Sessions is Dallas's Tiny-Desk-style competition series — stripped down, filmed in 4K, and built on a simple idea: put every artist on the same stage, behind the same band, under the same lights, and let the room decide who's actually got it.

Each artist gets one song with our live house band. No backing tracks. No DJ. Nobody brings extra production, because everybody performs under identical conditions. That's the whole point — when the playing field is even, the only variable left is you.

A panel of judges scores 70%. The crowd in the room votes the other 30%. At the end of the night, four artists advance to the Finale, where one takes home:

• $1,000 cash
• A fully directed music video — treatment by the CTV team, shot on location
• A marketing campaign behind their next single

Every performance is filmed and delivered to the artist. Win or lose, you leave with content you couldn't afford to shoot yourself.

Doors at 7. Music starts at 7:30. Inside Gallery DeFi's 16,000 sq ft immersive art space in Historic West Dallas — murals, neon, sculpture, and one of the best-looking rooms in the city to be filmed in.
