Delaram Kafashzadeh & Avital Segal

Making their debut as a duo and at The Godown in Amsterdam, Delaram Kafashzadeh and Avital Segal present an entirely original repertoire rooted in their shared musical world. Classical music, contemporary jazz, Persian traditional music, Persian poetry, and English literature all find their way into the material.

Drawn from a deeply personal space, the repertoire reflects the meeting of different influences, experiences, and musical languages, creating a sound that is intimate, nuanced.
