Musical Improv Level Two: Making Meaningful Scenes & Songs
Build meaningful scenes, earn the song, and turn your improv into full musical numbers.
This seven week course will focus on creating meaningful scenes and songs in the moment. Students will learn to earn the song in every scene with strong characters and emotional points of view. Students will learn a variety of new structures such as tagline songs and trios to keep their songs fresh and fabulous. Finally, students will practice supporting the scene, turning every song into a full musical number! This class includes a showcase. The prerequisite for this class is Musical Improv Level One. Some experience in improvised scene work is recommended.

Seven weeks, starting October 21 (this class skips 11/25 for Thanksgiving break)
