Come for Conversations. Leave with Community.
📍 365 N Halsted, Chicago | 🕖 Thursday, September 24 | 7:00–9:00 p.m. | Doors at 6:30 p.m.
Some conversations get passed down. Others get passed over. This is where we start having the ones we never had.
The Talk We Never Had (TTWNH) is a South Asian women-led community created to dismantle the shame around womanhood through conversation, education, and connection, empowering women to understand themselves, advocate for themselves, and navigate womanhood together.
We're creating space for the conversations we wish women had more often.
Our bodies and health, relationships, fertility and motherhood, friendship, careers, culture, identity. The expectations we grew up with. The questions nobody taught us to ask.
On September 24, we're bringing that community together for the very first time.
Our first conversation: The Unspoken.
What were we taught to keep private? What didn't we grow up talking about? And what conversations are we ready to start having now?
Our founders, Aimee and Priya, will share the stories behind TTWNH, followed by guided conversation and an interactive experience designed to get women talking, connecting, and learning from one another.
You don't need to come with a story. Come to listen, laugh, connect, get curious, or simply meet other South Asian women in Chicago. Share as much or as little as you'd like.
