The Life of the Party: Film Screening and Discussion

Join us for a special Houston screening of The Life of the Party, presented in partnership with the League of Women Voters of Houston and Braver Angels of Houston Area, on Monday, August 28 at the Match Theater from 6:30P-9:00P.
The Life of the Party is a 40-minute documentary following three Republican women in Texas with sharply different views of their party as they navigate leadership, political identity, and a changing political landscape. Their stories raise questions that reach beyond a single party.
Following the screening, Pultizer Prize-winning journalist Lisa Falkenberg will lead a panel discussion with former Texas State Representative and film participant Sarah Davis, Houston Council Member Julian Ramirez, President of the League of Women Voters of Houston Priscila True, and co-directors Meg Griffiths and Scott Faris.
