October Topic: Bats
Learn all about Southern California’s local bat species. A
knowledgeable speaker will provide an overview of bats in
our area.
October Project: Button Art
Create simple, dimensional pieces with leftover or recycled
buttons. Incorporate fall shapes like leaves, harvest moons,
etc. or design your own shape. We’ll glue them onto painted
backgrounds for some fun fall art.
Supplies: We will have supplies available, but participants
are encouraged to bring buttons from their own supply if
possible. Flat buttons in a variety of sizes and colors work
best. Beads are also helpful for filling in some of the smaller
spaces.
