Dog Training Workshop: Recall 101

Does your dog only listen when there's nothing more interesting going on? Recall 101, taught by certified dog trainer, Erin Gianella with Perfect Pals Dog Training, is a hands-on, small-group workshop designed to help you build a recall your dog will actually respond to, using positive reinforcement training methods — even with real distractions in the mix, like other dogs playing nearby.

What You'll Learn

• How to make your recall cue irresistible using high-value rewards and precise timing.
• Fun, interactive games that turn recall into your dog's favorite thing to do!
• How to practice recall safely around real-world distractions, including other dogs off-leash.
• The do's and don'ts that make — or break — a reliable recall!

Who This Is For

Dog owners at any stage (But dog must be at least 6 motnhs old). Whether your dog already has a decent "come" and you want to sharpen it under distraction, or you're just getting started and want a strong foundation, this workshop is built for mixed skill levels.

What to Bring

• Treats (A variety of different treats would be best!)
• Treat Pouch/fanny pack.
• Collar and/or harness-Please no prong, choke, chain, shock or e-collars-We use postive reinforcement training methods and don't want to confuse the dogs with different methods.
• A long line leash, if you have one. If not, that's OK!
• Water for your pup, we will also have some available.
• Your dog, leashed on arrival! 😊

Tickets are $35 Per Dog attending the workshop. By purchasing tickets, you'll also receive 10% off at Pet Wants Arvada before or after the workshop.

Spots are limited to 6 dogs to keep the class small and hands-on, so register early to save yours.

Terms & Policies:

-Ticket prices are 1 per dog.
-Open to puppies aged 6 Months and older.
-You must send up to date vaccination records to perfectpalsdogtraining@gmail.com before the class.
-We request 24 hours notice to cancel your spot, in order to make room for other interested parties, otherwise your attendance fee will be forfeited.
