Come experience WORTH / Excavated, the newest solo art exhibition by Cheryl Russell. Grand scale, bold color, still built on the same excavation that runs through every painting she makes: the roles we outgrow, the stories we inherited, the truth we stop hiding from. Not everything in the work reveals itself at first glance. Give it time, and more comes into view. You might see something you recognize.

About the Artist

Cheryl Russell is a Houston-based contemporary abstract expressionist painter. She earned her BFA summa cum laude from Texas State University, her work sits in private collections internationally, and she paints full-time from her studio at Silver Street Studios in Sawyer Yards. This exhibition is her most ambitious body of work yet.
