Join us for a Sunday morning hike at Red Top Mountain State Park on the shores of Lake Allatoona.

This 5.5-mile Homestead Trail loop winds through forested trails with beautiful lake views throughout. Red Top Mountain offers a real backcountry feel without being far from the city, making it one of the best hiking destinations near Atlanta.

What to expect:
1. A 5.5-mile loop on the Homestead Trail
2. Stunning Lake Allatoona views throughout the hike
3. Forested trails with rolling elevation
4. Moderate difficulty, about 3 hours
