Join us at Asia Market on Sunday, 13 September 2026 for Taste of Malaysia 2026, a vibrant celebration of Malaysian food, culture, traditions and tourism, proudly supported by the Embassy of Malaysia.

Discover the flavours and traditions of Malaysia through live cooking demonstrations, food sampling, traditional games and cultural activities — all taking place throughout the day at Asia Market.

What to Expect

Malaysian Food & Food Sampling

Explore a selection of Malaysian favourites, with food stations serving:

• Char Kway Teow by Tapahouse
• Paratha, roti chanai and nasi lemak
• Malaysian desserts and drinks
• Sambal and crackers

Live Cooking Demonstrations

Watch a Malaysian Ambassador Chef demonstrate how to make roti jala, the delicate Malaysian "net pancake", in a live cooking demonstration.

You can also discover the art of serving Malaysian coffee with a special demonstration by the Asia Market team.

Traditional Malaysian Games

Have a go at traditional Malaysian games and experience a fun and interactive side of Malaysian culture.

Visit the Malaysian Tourism Booth to learn more about travelling to Malaysia, including its food, culture, destinations and experiences.

Flag-Hoisting Ceremony & Delegate Welcome

The event will also feature a special National Day celebration with Malaysian and Irish flags, delegate remarks and a flag-hoisting ceremony.
