Sense and Sensibility | DFW YAS Social Book Club

Sense and Sensibility | DFW YAS Social Book Club

Overview

Two sisters, one head and one heart, and a whole lot of terrible men in between.

Join us as we read Jane Austen's Sense and Sensibility, the story of Elinor and Marianne Dashwood navigating love, money, and social expectation after their father's death leaves them with almost nothing. Elinor keeps everything close to the chest. Marianne feels everything out loud. Neither approach is going to spare them heartbreak. We will move through the book across three sessions with plenty of space for discussion, reactions, and airing your grievances about Willoughby.
