Intro to Portrait Drawing

Learn the foundations of portrait drawing with live models!

This course breaks down portraiture over four weeks, focusing on individual features. This class is accessible to all skill levels, no experience needed! Portrait Drawing 101 provides skills including proportions, shading, and details. Through drawing the face, participants are equipped with the techniques to draw a variety of subjects.

Each week will involve drawing a new model from life. Participants learn about portraiture through a variety of faces. This course uses a variety of drawing pencils, with guided instruction of the material.

This class meets 4 times, every Monday in October : October 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th.
