The Hispanic Collective is excited to welcome our community back for our annual Fall Social — an evening designed to bring Hispanic/Latino professionals, emerging leaders, ERG and BRG members, community partners, and allies together for professional development, meaningful networking, and connection.
Building on the experience of last year's Fall Social, this year's event will begin with a special professional development session featuring writer, TEDx Speaker, and entrepreneur Andrés Oliveros.
From 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM, Andrés will lead an engaging workshop focused on helping Latino professionals rethink networking and develop relationships that extend beyond a single conversation or introduction.
This session isn't about collecting contacts — it's about learning how to build authentic professional relationships, communicate your story, and create connections that actually last.
✨ What to Expect
Throughout the evening, attendees will have opportunities to:
🎤 Professional Development with Andrés Oliveros
Participate in an interactive session exploring networking through the lens of storytelling, identity, communication, and genuine human connection.
🤝 Build Relationships That Last
Learn how to move beyond transactional networking and develop professional relationships rooted in authenticity, curiosity, and shared value.
💬 Communicate Your Story With Confidence
Explore how your experiences, background, and perspective can help you introduce yourself more effectively and create stronger connections with others.
🌱 Strengthen Your Professional Network
Gain practical strategies for maintaining relationships, following up intentionally, and building a network of peers, mentors, collaborators, and advocates.
🍹 Connect at The Hispanic Collective Fall Social
Following the workshop, continue the evening by meeting professionals across industries, expanding your network, strengthening existing relationships, and connecting with members of The Hispanic Collective community.
🎙️ Featured Speaker: Andrés Oliveros
Andrés Oliveros is a writer, TEDx Speaker, and entrepreneur originally from Monterrey, Mexico, and now based in Philadelphia.
He is the cofounder of Astrolab, a leadership and communication consultancy that has facilitated workshops for organizations including Google, Microsoft, L'Oréal, Campbell's, and Citi.
Andrés holds a Master's in Behavioral and Decision Sciences from the University of Pennsylvania, where he won the Penn Grad Talks event in 2024.
He has also been featured by The Alumni Society, the Wharton Latin American Conference, and the Latino Student Organization (LASO) at Harvard Business School.
Through Mondoli Writing, Andrés explores storytelling, identity, and connection. He will bring that same perspective to this workshop, helping Latino professionals in NYC approach networking with greater intention and build relationships that extend well beyond the event itself.

❤️ Building Opportunity Through Community
At The Hispanic Collective, we believe some of the most meaningful opportunities begin with genuine relationships.
Our Fall Social is designed to create a space where professionals can step outside of their individual companies and industries, exchange ideas, learn from one another, and build a stronger community together.
By beginning this year's event with professional development, we're creating an opportunity to not only bring people into the same room — but to help everyone become more intentional about how we connect, how we support one another, and how we build relationships that last.
Come for the professional development. Stay for the community. Leave with connections worth keeping.
Join us for an evening of learning, networking, and community at The Hispanic Collective Fall Social.
🎟️ Space will be limited. Registration is required.
