Sina Theil’s story is a powerful tale of grit, passion and relentless belief. Born in Germany and now a successful full-time Irish-based singer-songwriter, Sina dared to do what many only dream of—she left behind a soul-crushing 9-5 job in finance, sold all her belongings, and boarded a one-way flight to Dublin in 2015 with just her guitar, one backpack, and a heart full of hope.

With no money, no contacts, and no experience performing professionally, she started by busking on the streets of Dublin to fund her music education at BIMM Dublin. Despite the odds, Sina never let go of her dream. Her determination paid off—fast forward a decade and she's now a multi-award-winning artist with 27 #1 singles across the Irish iTunes charts, over 16,500 radio plays, several Irish magazine covers and an online following spanning 65,000+ fans and close to 4 million YouTube views.

But Sina is more than a musician. She has a degree in Psychology, is a wellness columnist for Irish Runner Magazine, a yoga and fitness enthusiast, certified Laughter Yoga Leader, motivational speaker and TV/radio presenter. Her independent spirit led her to crowdfund over €16,000 in three weeks to produce her live album and DVD “Live at THT Galway” that aired nationally on Irish TV. She's toured extensively in Europe and the US, performed aboard a luxury cruise liner and shared stages with household names like Dan McCabe, Mundy, Derek Warfield and the Young Wolfe Tones, to mention a few.

A passionate philanthropist, Sina has also raised over €10,000 for Irish and Celtic charities, while also promoting children's wellness initiatives like The Daily Mile. Whether gracing the covers of Irish Music Magazine or performing on national TV, her authenticity and passion shine through.

She is working on her fourth studio album (due in late 2026), an all-Ireland collaborative project with 12 prominent female Irish folk artists from all four provinces, representing over 850,000 combined followers. This project includes a new Irish-language track and is a landmark initiative that highlights the strength, diversity and contemporary relevance of Irish female artistry. Sina Theil stands as a testament to the power of following your heart. The potluck is optional, but is a great chance to connect others in the audience and maybe even share a meal with the artist. It also helps ensure the artist isn't having to have a meal from a gas station. We'll provide the plates, bowls, silverware, napkins, and, if you need it, serving utensils. Feel free to bring anything you'd like--an entrée, appetizer, dessert, or drink to share. Bring something you will enjoy eating, because if you enjoy it it is likely others will as well.
