SFIF Opening Night Film: Spilt Milk + Opening Night Reception
Overview
Guests are invited to celebrate the festival's launch with a reception afterwards.
The festival opens on Thursday evening with Brian Durnin’s nostalgic feature Spilt Milk. Set in a 1970s Dublin flats, the story follows 11-year-old Bobby O’Brien—a TV-obsessed kid complete with a Kojak fascination—who decides to investigate a mystery unfolding inside his own family's home. The opening night screening at 6:30 PM is followed by an Opening Reception sponsored by the Consulate General of Ireland in San Francisco and the INBA
