ROOMATES! - Official Premiere

The film is about 90-minutes long. There will be a brief Q&A after the film with the audience.

"Roomates!" - an ultra low-budget feature created by a small group of LMU students - started shooting in 2020. But due to the unforeseen COVID pandemic, production was cancelled. To make matters worse, the crew lost access to their primary locations on LMU's campus, which was now closed to students.

For a moment, it looked like the movie was destined to be one of those failed projects that never saw the light of day. However, instead of letting it go, it's creators - Aiden Meyer & Jacob Staudenmaier - chose a different plan of action: they reworked the entire story, took the existing footage, and made something new. This became the new "ROOMATES," which began filming in Fall 2020.

Well... it only took them about six years to complete it. And now, you are invited to witness it on the BIG SCREEN; A ONE-NIGHT ONLY screening of a film long thought to be a thing of the past. This movie may never be shown in public again. So we hope you join us on September 17th, for what will be a very choatic, very fun, cinematic experience that is a testament to friendship and perserverance in the face of failure.
