Alfred Banks

Multi award-winning, Grammy-Nominated New Orleans rapper/singer Alfred Banks has garnered acclaim from some of hip-hop’s most esteemed publications. In addition to being named one of Complex’s 10 upcoming New Orleans MCs, Banks has been featured on The Fader, HipHopDx, Okayplayer as well as Blavity’s list of Top 6 Indie Rappers of 2021. He’s also completed three legs of a North American tour with the Grammy Winning Tank & the Bangas. His collab with the Brass band The Soul Rebels, “Greatness,” was the televised NCAA tournament anthem in 2019. “Burning Sands”, the 2017 Netflix film, featured Banks’ song “UnderDogCentral” on its soundtrack & the Disney+ Show, “The Crossover”, Included Alfred’s song, “HomeComing”. Recently, His Song “G-Wagon” was used for the 2025 “Peloton” Commercial & International Campaign.

Banks made headway in Europe, performing at the Reeperbahn Festival in Germany and starring in a Volkswagen ad campaign featuring his song “HomeComing.” In 2018, Banks was named “Best Hip-Hop Artist” at the Best of the Beat Awards, presented by New Orleans’ premier music publication, OffBeat Magazine. He followed that up with the 2019 Big Easy Award for Best Rapper & a 2024 “40 under 40” Award both presented by Gambit Weekly. In 2023, Alfred achieved Viral success with SaxKixAve. Co-founded alongside a former Tank and the Bangas’ saxophonist , Saxkixave accumulated millions of views across Tiktok & Instagram with their videos highlighted by Alfred’s Witty & Deadpan delivery.

Banks’ notable live appearances include SXSW, A3C, JazzFest, Voodoo Festival, and BUKU Music + Art Project. He has supported tours from international bounce icon Big Freedia as well as NerdCore Artist MegaRan, former XXL freshman Mickey Factz, Rap Legend Devin the Dude and has done several headlining tours of his own.

In 2017, Banks released The Beautiful, an album which debuted at #12 on iTunes’ “Rap/HipHop” Charts, #3 on Bandcamp’s “Rap” Charts & #79 on Billboard’s “HeatSeeker” Charts. A frequent speaker on issues relating to mental health, Banks has appeared at Loyola University New Orleans, Tulane University, Walter L Cohen High School and elsewhere. His 2026 Album, “YesterMonth”, garnered a successful release as it accumulated over 50,000 Streams Across Spotify, Bandcamp & Apple Music.

Sxvxnt

Award winning rapper/singer Sxvxnt (pronounced “Savant”) is a Chicago-bred, classically trained musician and MC whose densely structured lyricism, fluid delivery, and unrelenting boom-bap sound have established him as a distinctive voice in hip-hop. Formerly known as Savant of RAREBREED, Sxvxnt earned early recognition through his affiliation with the collective, which produced his lauded solo release, The Delayed Entry EP.

After relocating to Los Angeles, Sxvxnt expanded his sonic palette through the Crash Course Leak Series. The project showcased his development as an MC and songwriter while offering glimpses of his abilities as a producer. Its acclaim led to his first tour, powered by Brooklyn Bodega—now known as Bodega Agency—and hosted by Behind the Scenes Network’s Justin Hunte. The tour featured support from Rasheed Chappell, Mega Ran, John Public, and M.O.P.’s DJ Uneek.

In the years that followed, Sxvxnt released a series of singles and contributed standout vocals to records with Kool G Rap, Papoose, Rasheed Chappell, Louis Logic, Qwazaar, Dominique Larue, and many others. During this period, he stepped back from solo material to focus on incorporating his musicianship into production, further developing the versatile approach that defines his work.

Sxvxnt’s 2020 relocation to Charleston, South Carolina, and collaborative launch of the music imprint Sound Of Cannae marked a new chapter in his career. The partnership helped fuel his return to solo work and led to the release of the critically acclaimed project Wayfare, Vol. 1. Since then, he has been named Charleston Hip-Hop Act of the Year in both 2023 and 2026 and Charleston Soul/R&B Act of the Year in 2023, and has begun touring aggressively, continuing to cultivate a career rooted in technical lyricism, musical depth, rousing live performances, collaborative versatility, and an uncompromising commitment to hip-hop.
