Can I just watch?

No. This is a participation class. You will be asked to do the drills. If you only want to observe, this is not the right event.

Question 2

Is this a safe space?

It is a controlled training space. Drills are structured. You sign a waiver. You can stop a drill. It is not meant to be easy, and it is not meant to be reckless.

Question 3

Is this some kind of alpha-male thing?

Accepted Answer

No. This class is for people who struggle to say no and hold a boundary. Men and women both train here. The work is assertiveness, not dominance.

Question 4

Will I be yelled at the whole time?

Accepted Answer

You will face pressure in short, structured drills. There is also explanation and debrief. The intensity is the training tool, not the whole class.

Question 5

Is this therapy?

Accepted Answer

No. No therapy, no diagnosis, no medicine. We DO NOT discuss mental health at all in this class. This is skill practice.

Question 6

What if I get overwhelmed?

Tell the instructor. You can stop a drill. You are not required to push past a hard limit.

Question 7

What should I wear?

Normal clothes you can stand and move in. No special gear.

Is there a 4-week program after this?

Accepted Answer

Yes. This intro is how you see the work before deciding. Nobody is locked into the full program by buying this ticket. If there are other intro classes like this one, you are encouraged to attend those as well.
