Emma Fleming is an Australian-born, Los Angeles–based Casting Director and Costume Designer, working under the name Alabama Blonde for costume design. Her work spans independent cinema, elevated genre, dark comedy, and character-driven drama, with projects screening at Sundance, Tribeca, SXSW, Sitges, BIFAN, Fantasia, and Fantastic Fest.

Recent projects include Godstar, starring François Arnaud, Olivia Taylor Dudley, and Blu Hunt; Confession, starring Rob Lowe, Jennifer Jason Leigh, James Franco, Nick Nolte, Emile Hirsch, and Kodi Smit-McPhee; Crossed, from Garth Ennis (The Boys) and Rob Jabbaz (The Sadness); Joel Edgerton’s Savages; and Jim Cummings and PJ McCabe’s The Screener (Sundance 2026). Other credits include Francis Galluppi’s The Last Stop in Yuma County, I Really Love My Husbandv(SXSW 2025), IMPRINT (Tribeca 2026), The Immaculate Room, NightFlirt, and Penny.

With over a decade of experience across casting, costume, and performance, Emma brings a character-first approach to her work, with a particular interest in unexpected talent, distinctive filmmakers, and stories that challenge genre and convention.

Since 2020, Emma has also served as Global Casting Director for Schön! Magazine, working with established and emerging voices across film and contemporary culture. She has worked internationally across the U.S., Europe, South America, Asia, and Australia and is represented by IAG.
