A journey in Song with Sophia Kai & Astra Laguna

Join us for a special evening of song and sonic exploration in the stunning Genezarethkirche, Berlin, with Sophia Kai and Astra Laguna.

Together, they’ll create a space for community, connection, listening, movement and exploration through sound, word and song. ✨

Sophia Kai is a multilingual writer and musician of Sri Lankan, Greek and East African heritage. Her work explores the depth and vulnerability of the human experience, weaving together music, poetry and storytelling. Her debut album, Karavi, moves between Greek, French, Spanish and English.

Astra Laguna is the musical collaboration of South African artists Caroline Mackintosh and Bummela. Drawing from their studies with Yawanawá, Shipibo, Vedic and Yogic traditions, they weave voice, ambient textures and traditional instruments into immersive sonic experiences rooted in connection, presence and remembrance.
